Curt comes to Guide Dogs of the Desert, and the desert area, from an extensive management history as a Legal Administrator in the Los Angeles area. His 20 year career in that industry provided him with diverse skills that he brings with him to the Guide Dog of the Desert team.
At Guide Dogs of the Desert, Curt has served as an executive assistant to senior management and in August of 2013, Curt was promoted to Director of Operations and Finance, overseeing all logistical and business operations of the organization. These include administration, facilities management, budget planning, information technology, staff development, human resource management, communications and marketing, program reporting and evaluation, and organizational safety.
Curt has a clear vision of the responsibilities and operations of the organization. His expertise is in managing multiple diverse projects simultaneously. He is efficient, diligent and focused. Curt has also been a volunteer puppy raiser for Guide Dogs of the Desert.
